How can I force Google mail to open .xlsx file as a Google sheet?

I have a spreadsheet sent from Gmail, in the past, the spreadsheet would redirect to Google sheet in a new tab.

However this morning, the spreadsheet isn't being redirected to the next tab, instead, it's just displayed on the Google mail as a new layer. I think it's being opened in Google Drive so it wouldn't redirect itself to Google sheet.

I've spent some hours finding how to redirect it to sheet because the sheet has collaborations and it needs to be opened that way, and it's more convenient.

Is there any setting I can tweak to revert it back to opening in Google sheet?
