I'm trying to share a Google Calendar with a friend, but I can't get the end-to-end process to complete. I don't want it to be public, only people I share the link with. Here are the steps I followed:
- I copied the shareable link and passed it to my friend
- They opened the link and got the "Add calendar" modal window
- They clicked Add, then send the request, whereupon a little notification pops up at the bottom of the screen saying "Request sent".
Now I'm expecting to see a request somewhere on or near my calendar, but I don't see anything. How do I find it?
I also checked the email account associated with this calendar, thinking maybe the request was sent there instead, but ... nothing, not even in the junk mailbox.
Hopefully someone has seen this before. TIA
