I'm organising photo files into folders on google drive. Can I now delete the same photos that are in the folders but are unorganised without losing them from the folders? Trying to free up space

This is relavant to have clear that put files in final destination folder instead of shortcuts. Also describe do you plan to delete the file, and what you found from this site and from Google Drive Help Cent support.google.com/drive and why it didn't meet your needs.
