Is there a way to remove certain channels and shows from YouTube auto-play?

I would like to remove the following from my YouTube auto-play:

  1. a specific channel
  2. any videos that contains certain words or match a specified RegEx

I do not want to down-vote the channels or videos at this time. I just don't want to see them anymore.

I found on the internet where you can "block" a YouTube channel, but I think all that does is prevent the underlying user from commenting on your YouTube channel and it potentially sends a "dirty mark" to YouTube.

  • Shawn, I removed the reference to SmartTV as it makes this off-topic unless you specify it is a browser not YouTube app being used. Also, it isn't clear what you mean by remove from auto-play. Do you mean remove from reccomendations? Auto-play is the ability for YouTube to start playing the next video without you needing to click it regardless what video is next or how it got there (playlist, reccomended video, etc.)
