www.google.com is displaying as mobile site for me from yesterday on chrome Version 73.0.3683.86 I?ve tried a user agent switcher ( https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-and-m/bhchdcejhohfmigjafbampogmaanbfkg ) but it does nothing at all. It's the only site acting like that. How do I force it back to the desktop site?

Chrome Version 73.0.3683.86? This like 4 years old, why aren't you using the latest version of Chrome? (Not sure why it was migrated, as the question is about Google Chrome as well as google.com)– Yisroel TechMay 17 at 15:07

That's beside the point, but I have my reasons... every time I "upgrade" I instantly regret it, due to how they move things around, disable addons that are part of my habits and generally disrupt my workflow. Anyway, I have this google problem only on Chrome, other browsers are fine.– FuzMay 17 at 15:51

It's not besides the point, such an old browser isn't meant to be used (while you may want to delay an update for some time, 4 years is excessive. If Chrome in its current form isn't to your liking, find another browser which is.) Your issue might very much be related to some old thing in this browser (that websites nowadays would not be considering.)– Yisroel TechMay 17 at 15:54

But two things (as it relates to this browser): 1) Is it the same in Incognito? 2) What User Agent did you switch it to? Have you tried the UA of the latest version of Google Chrome?– Yisroel TechMay 17 at 15:56

I'm sorry, nothing against you but I'm tired of hearing "you should upgrade" when I occasionally ask something browser related on the net. I'm grateful for you help. Yes, it's the same in incognito. I also tried with a old Opera build and an up to date Firefox and I don't get the issues. I tried a few UA with that plugin but maybe I'm doing something wrong that I can't figure out, because nothing at all happens.– FuzMay 17 at 16:05
