I tried using Ctrl+F, input "See More", Esc, then Enter, but it does not work.

What other keyboard shortcut can I used to trigger "See More" in Facebook for long posts? An extension or 3ʳᵈ party user script will be even better!

  • can tab and enter be used? most buttons can be tabbed to if window in focus.

You can use the open-sourced Vimium extension which is available for both Firefox and Chrome. It allows vi-style navigation in common browsers. By default the f key is for opening a link in the current tab, and will allow you to click pretty much anything that's clickable. Just press it and then type the accelerator key on the See more link

The Hacker's Browser. Vimium provides keyboard shortcuts for navigation and control in the spirit of Vim.
