I don't know to How do I delete all contacts in Google apps permanently?

I thought as a solution, to be sure there will be no traces left I want to change the names of all my contacts before I delete them.

How can I change all Contact details easily all at once?

  • It's unclear what you're after here. Even if you did "obfuscate" your contacts, Google leaves contact information available to you for at least 30 days (so you can rollback an error). And, of course, Google has backups of your data which basically last forever. What, exactly, are you trying to achieve? – ale May 26 '14 at 17:52
  • I thought of waiting 30 days and then delete all my contacts. but what makes you think, they keep older Backups? – rubo77 May 26 '14 at 17:58
  • Because I guess, Google will not delete the contacts really, but rather mark them in their database as "deleted". – rubo77 Nov 4 '17 at 16:05
