Right now it seems like the easiest way to refresh a filter view in google sheets is to remove the filter view and then apply it again. What is the fastest way to refresh a filter view in Google Sheets?

If you click the filter button in the first row of any column (it does not have to be a column that is actually filtered), then click 'OK' it will refresh the filter.

I think this is currently the fastest way to refresh filters - as of 2015-01-27. Marking as correct. Too bad there isn't a keyboard shortcut! – Peter Nore Jan 27 '15 at 13:36

@PeterNore I was particularly disappointed that, once the dialog was open, Enter was not the equivalent of clicking the 'OK' button. – Morgen Jan 27 '15 at 17:27
  • this doesn't re-sort the rows – Sam Watkins Jun 27 '16 at 13:29
  • It's not intended to resort the rows, just refresh any filters. – Morgen Jun 27 '16 at 15:04
