I wrote a user script that does that! Available on my GitHub, on Greasy Fork and OpenUserJS, under the MIT license. What it does It checks if it's on a video page (URL contains /videos/) and if so: It checks every half a second if the popup appeared, and if so - removes it. It also cancels the next video from playing automatically. The code snippet It'...

You now have a web interface for Google Tasks on https://tasksboard.app/

I would write a simple jquery script and add includes to jquery from the CDN. <script src="http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.8.0.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function(){ setTimeout(function() { $("a.NAMEOFTHEBUTTON").trigger('click'); },10); }); </...

I came up with some solutions and they seem to work at the moment: First, the easiest one. Use the bookmarklet I have mentioned here. When you click the bookmark, YouTube video will stop. If you need a button, use this userscript. I recently created my own Google Chrome Extension. If you are a Chrome user, you can make use of this extension instead of the ...

Normally with something like this you can change the navbar from position: fixed to another position value, but Facebook does their site differently. Instead of scrolling the whole page and keeping the nav fixed, they scroll all of the content. It's actually kind of puzzling how they do so, it must be using JavaScript somewhere. So you must use a userscript ...

Quora seems to create a random ID for the header each page refresh. Mine currently is ###__w2_aBrjao6_header. The consistent parts are __w2_ and _header, but __w2_ is used in other elements, sadly. So you can select the _header part and have uBlock Origin block that using the following (CSS) selectors: ##[id *= "_header"] /* Contains */ /* OR */ ##[id $= "...

Looks like I’m a bit late. As Sk Nepal mentioned, you can use a simple bookmarklet to address the issue. It will be workable as long as YouTube has a static player ID. Here is my version of the bookmarklet.

After searching the web for few hours, apparently there is no current way to disable that feature. There are some question threads on Facebook's help community that are a few months old, as like the one in the link and none of them got answered by Facebook yet. How can I turn off the "up next" video feature?

Note that you can right-click on the video itself, and then select Full Screen from the context menu. This will show the whole video and works on most browsers, and many websites. But a userstyle can be more convenient. Here's one for the Stylish extension: @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document domain("imgur.com") { .post-...

With the browser extension: uBlock Origin (Chrome version / Firefox version), AdBlock Plus, or a similar content-blocking browser extension that can use AdBlock Plus syntax filter lists, you can add the following custom filter: ||facebook.com/video/*/upnext/$xmlhttprequest That should block the "up-next" video autoplay and pop-up.

You could use the chrome extension Full Screen for Google Tasks

I'm also an old Google Tasks Canvas user, and I built a complete replacement web app for it (with upgrades) called GTaskD that you can use for free: https://tasks.gtaskd.com/ Warning: 2019-08-30 is the date that Google will get rid of multiple levels of subtasks in the API itself (as opposed to just their interfaces), so third party apps won't be able to ...

I used simplegamer solution with tasks.google.com/embed link but for javascript I prefer greasemonkey, so you save 1 click every time. This is the script I use in greasemonkey: // ==UserScript== // @name google tasks // @version 1 // @grant none // ==/UserScript== // @match https://tasks.google.com/embed/list/~default?fullWidth=1 // @match https://...

Several things: You run at document-start; this is good because it helps reduce annoying flicker associated with the style change. BUT... This means that the code must now wait before it can effect the HTML of the page. Use the DOMContentLoaded event, or similar, for this. The new image is considerably bigger than the old image, so you must size it with ...

I use the FF extension YouTube Flash Video Player to do this. In Options set it to Flash Video Player.

Press the Tab button twice and press Enter to post a comment/reply. I hope they make an option for disabling/enabling submission of comment/reply with a keypress...

It's not possible to change the sort order in Gmail but some other tools like IMAP and POP desktop clients have that feature. The built-alternative to changing the sort order, is to use Gmail search (see [1]). It includes search constraints. Also, could be used the search operators "before", "after", "newer" and "older". From [2] Example: after:2004/...

The only way to stop your download is to click at the end of your YouTube video. If you are looking for the thumb that the video use: press Ctrl + U. Search for this line: meta property="og:image" content="http://anurl.com/vi/letters.jpg?feature=og" You can use Ctrl + F for searching this line. Copy and paste the URL.
