I have a very similar problem: I set up gmail with an embarrassing username I created as a teenager which friends and family use (let's call it [email protected]), then later created a serious email account ([email protected]) which I set as the default and send mail as for all mail - but I was recently shocked to discover that emails sent from [email protected] had [email protected] as the sender , showing on some email clients as [email protected] via [email protected]... Did you ever find a working solution?
