download them all to outlook and sort the emails by size.
Using IMAP should download them (eg headers only) quicker.
If you, like me, despise outlook, then you can use Opera's email imap client. It works wonderfully with Gmail's IMAP implementation ( well not with google apps, but that's a different story)
