I am working with a public Google Sheet that only I can edit. I would like to prevent others from seeing the intermediate phase in which I am making changes and be able to decide when the public sees the updated version.

Paradoxically, this is very easy to do if the public document is a PDF: when I have a new version I just upload the new version. Can I do something similar with Google Sheets?
