Change secondary gmailemail address on googleGoogle account

I have a google accountGoogle Account where the primary email is a non-gmailGmail address. By accident, I added a (silly) gmailGmail address to this account. Now I would like to delete the silly gmailGmail address and replace it with a sensible one. I do not wish to looselose this google accountGoogle Account as it has many things I need to keep. SoSo the question is: If I delete the silly gmailGmail name, will I looselose the account?
