I've been using Google Sheets IMPORTHTML function to return NFL player stats.
Background
- I want to get the Target Rate for Andy Isabella from his stats page on "Player Profiler".
- The current value is 5.3% and is located in the 3rd column, 2nd row, of the first Opportunity table.
- That table is the 2nd one on Andy's stats page.
Formula
=importhtml(
"https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/andy-isabella/",
"Table", 2)
Formula Result
Targets | Target Share | Target Rate | Snap Share | Slot Snaps | Routes Run | Route % |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 (0.1 p/g) | 0.3% | 5.3% | 4.7% | 14 (53.8% rate) | 19 (2.4 p/g) | 6.2% |
#224 | -- | -- | #231 | #190 | #213 | -- |
As can be seen above, the formula is returning all the values in the table including the headings.
Is there a way to use IMPORTHTML so it only returns a specific value instead of the entire table?
